If you want a short introduction to Spellforce and aren't particular about the storyline, then it is a great game to play.. to short for a stand alone... nice resolutions. I must admit I did enjoy Faith in Destiny. I played all previous Spellforce games and it was a very long time since I played the last one, so it was rather nice to play again.That said, Faith in Destiny is very poor. It's short (4 maps), there really isn't anything new and the story is the poorest ever seen in a Spellforce game. You still dont know anything more at the end than after reading the synopsis...One thing for sure, if you want to discover Spellforce, this absolutely souldn't be your entry point.. The story is short and the end has an unexpected turn, but It is fun to play if you like the mix of RTS and RPG. great game, nostalgic. RPG + RTS = <3. They recycled everything from the older Spellforce games. Characters, races, they even recyled maps from Spellforce 2 for the DLC scenarios!. Does not live up to the reputation of previous installments, not by a long shot.
